My dear Josh and I got married in October 2022. Josh’s uncle has made countless sets of bags boards in recent years and offered to make a set for us and then drive it to Illinois from Pennsylvania so the people we love could play bags on my art in our backyard wedding. The design for the boards is based on one of my drawings from my journey through The Isolation Project’s 2022 100 days of making.
Process: scan in the drawing from my sketchbook, scale it up to the dimensions of standard bags boards, print the drawing to scale on my dad’s plotter printer in IL, mail that print out to my husband’s uncle in PA, he then transferred the image onto his home constructed bags boards and painted in the design.
